I bought this blade for my husband for Christmas for our backyard rink we built this year. We needed something to move the steel ice and snow and help smooth the surface out …. is heavy and does great work. The wide blade makes it less through the ice and the weight of it is very useful. My husband loves the shovel and it works great for our yard NICERINK. Thanks

if you get a light snow (say 2.5 inches or less) this is the shovel to do the job. its very wide so you can cover ground very quickly. the fall is that thanks to its size, it is difficult to take a lot of snow, at a time. is still very well done, but it might be better to go with a 24 “instead.

This is a snow shovel hard. E ‘in heavy steel with a wooden handle strong. But in reality it is only good for pushing snow around. Use this to push the snow along concrete or asphalt and then if you need to pile snow up, use something else. My way was the last against the house and I shared with the neighbor next door. I had to push the snow plus the length of the house before I could pile it up. This saved a lot of time. On my new album I just hit the snow on each side – a shovel is ideal for this task. I use two blades, this to push the snow around and an aluminum “feed and grain” style shovel to move piles. Giving a blow of silicone spray before shoveling wet snow will peel away. Much quieter than a fan and good exercise as well.
