If you need to char food, raise that nozzel from low to high and you can have some I’ll tasting welldone meat for all of those that like to beat down a dead cow and make it flavorless.

I love the versatility. Depending about the recipe or my mood to be able to use gas or charcoal or smoke. I was disappointed Amazon so prominently displays the side fire box with this item, makes it appear it is included, until you read the fine print. I extremely recommend buying the side fire box too! My only complaint on this unit is with the wheels. They’re very flimsy. Because of the combined weight of all four components, this really is definitely a grill you need to put in one location and leave it.
