I’ve had it for a couple of months now and am very satisfied. Everything works as expected. In fact the steam surge is actually much better than I expected. My previous Panasonic iron produced a very feeble stream to start with and within a few months even that became sporadic. This iron produces such a strong burst that you can actually feel the iron recoil. I had no trouble getting rid of a double crease on my slacks. The tank is big enough to go through 15 – 20 items with lots of steaming without refills. The iron does not leak and glides very smoothly. I highly recommend it; at this price it’s a steal.

This is without a doubt the best flat iron I have ever used! Maybe a little heavy but it has great steam, holds quite a bit of water and the temperature control is wonderful. You can switch from cotton to silk with the push of a button. It will tell you when it has reached the proper temperature. No more scorched clothes! I Love it!

I just used this iron to press a queen-sized cotton duvet cover–a large job requiring lots of heat and steam (+ patience). It performed very well and made a daunting task less time-consuming & tiresome. The iron is big, but this enabled me to press larger portions of cloth at a time. Its water reservoir is much easier to fill with the little pitcher included for this purpose–no more overflows and messes! All in all, a high quality iron with sensible features at a reasonable price. I encourage others to consider it.

Rowenta user for years, unfortunately a friends daughter dropped my Rowenta onto the tile floor in the laundry room while visiting, no hope in resureccting. I was lamenting my loss to my dry cleaners and she recommended the B&W D2030, brought it up from the back of the shop to show me. Trusting her as she is not just a counter person, she and her family have owned this DC for over 20 yrs in the same shopping center, I visited several B&M’s to no avail (only because I could not imagine not having an iron in the house for even one minute). Gave up my search and came home to see if possibly Amazon had it in stock, and luckily they did. I have Prime so upped the shipping to next day for the minimal cost and am so thrilled that I did. This iron is lighter than the Rowenta, produces a lot of steam, the water markings are easy to read, the touch button and digital read out stating what the level of heat is used for is excellent. My garmets are pressed nicely and quickly using this iron. Highly recommend it. I replaced my defunct Rowenta with this iron and could not be more pleased with the purchase after two months of use. The D2030′s controls are very easy to understand and use and I like that the iron beeps when it reaches the correct temperature. Multiple fabric settings allow you to iron lightweight poly blends as easily as heavy denim and–my favorite feature–it steams on lower temperatures as well as higher ones. It puts out copious amounts of steam without spitting. The display tells you when it needs to be cleaned and it’s simple to do so. It’s a tad bit heavy but not uncomfortably so, and glides effortlessly over the fabric you’re ironing and one pass over the fabric gets the job done. Makes ironing a quick and easy chore and I’d purchase this product again in a heartbeat. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts a long, long time!
